Talk:Apple Silicon VMware Guide
Potential page rename to "Apple silicon VMware Guide"
I understand that some people may use the term "[Apple] M1" to imply the family of ARM chips developed by Apple and used on their latest Macs. A better name from Apple's official terminology exists for this purpose: "Apple silicon".
If this guide can also apply to Macs with a non-M1 Apple silicon chip -- particularly the latest M2, then I would like to suggest replacing occurrences of "Apple M1" in this guide with "Apple silicon". This will help with accurately expressing this guide's scope and attracting more readers. Otherwise, users on an M2 might ask, "can I use this guide too?"

I would agree with the idea to change the name of the page to "Apple Silicon VMware Guide." I have not tested these instructions on an M2, but they most probably work without modification. It's probably not a bad idea to put a note in this guide about where it has been tested.
