No, Partition Type UUIDs and Partition UUIDs are different (and of course filesystem UUIDs are also different). They are both recorded in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table#Partition_entries_.28LBA_2.E2.80.9333.29" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:GUID Partition Table">partition entries of GPT</a>, at offset 0x00 and 0x10 respectively. In the expert mode of fdisk, 'p' command shows two different columns "Type-UUID" and "UUID" with two different values.

I wasn't sure I was correct when writing the first comment, but now I think modifying Partition UUIDs is neither a requirement for DPS nor a useful step in any way. If that is correct, I suggest removing the instructions to modify Partition UUIDs. Some architecture-specific blocks about fstab are also affected.
