Before adding yourself here, be sure you have read the instructions on translating pages.
Note
The requests are handled in batches. You may need to wait a bit (around a month) before your account is flagged for translations. To apply for a translator account, add a new "topic" below via the top comment bubble with a + sign. Your topic title must include the language(s) you'd like to translate into. If you are the first translator, also link to your translated help page in the message body as outlined in the instructions.

Note to wiki admins
To add a user to the "translators" group:
- navigate to the appropriate user's page
- click on the "Tools" menu then "Change user groups"
- in the "User rights" page that should now show: select the "translators" group
- fill out "Reason" field, e.g. "As requested" to indicate that the user requested to become a translator
- click "Save user groups"
Tip: The Special:AllComments page may help determine the appropriate user name if this is not clear from the comment.
Note: Only users with the necessary admin permissions will be able to change these settings.
