0. roll call

  • Absent announced: ABCD
  • Absent unannounced: ssuominen, tampakrap, wired

1. migrating ebuilds to qt4-r2.eclass

  • send a notice to gentoo-dev(-announce) ML about the migration, ask maintainers for cooperation
  • start making patches to ebuilds, ask maintainer for okay, if unresponsive file bug that it will be applied in 7 days unless there are objections

2. meego ebuilds and status update

  • we will look into what is interesting for us to package, but it is early days still for meego; ayoy is actively looking at this, sabayon guys are interested
  • it was suggested to form separate smaller working groups, sub-projects or herds, but we don't want to make such things too bureaucratic, so documenting who does what should do for now

3. call for candidates for project lead (elections next meeting)

As it will be one year since we chose a project lead, next month's meeting will include elections of a new lead. As yngwin is considering to retire, hwoarang announced to be a candidate. Other devs can be nominated until beginning of next meeting.

4. review open bugs

  • bug 312689: this is possibly a sip problem, pesa will contact upstream
  • bug 314193: this is fixed in recent qt-webkit revisions, yngwin will file stable request
  • bug 304115: is fixed upstream, wait for next release
  • bug 307861: it's a corner case, let's ask toolchain for feedback

5. removal of old versions

Because of regressions in 4.6.2 we should keep older versions around for now.
