Ideas
1. Reduce the number of navbars
2. Use dropdowns for further information
Reduce the needed amount of vertical space
Display information only as needed

Current Situation

Currently 2-3 navbars are used:

  1. Site-title, containing: the gentoo logo, the site-title, get-gentoo + gentoo-sites dropdown
  2. Tyrian navbar, containing: main navigation links of the respective page
  3. (optional) Grey navbar, containing: Additional sublinks and subtitles

Suggested Improvement

Reducing the number of navbars to reduce the amount of vertical space that is needed. (Large) dropdowns might be used to display further information (as done on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/). The dropdowns ensure that information are only displayed as needed. First draft:
