I just wanted to say thanks for this excellent guide! Im resurrecting my old Asus TF700T and I will try installing Gentoo by following this guide :)

This guide is much better then the ones Ive seen at XDA developers so its great! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hobs0n (talkcontribs)

Glad to know! It's still quite incomplete tough, and i am improving it by adding ssytem-wide NEON support, ZRAM and a few more niceties. Finding time to improve this page is the difficult task :)
but feel free to share anything you discover to make gentoo better on the tablet! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shimitar (talkcontribs)
A hint, if you are going to emerge stuff yourself, i found very efficient to plug an USB 2.0 external hard drive to the keyboard USB port, setup a SWAP device on that and move the PORTAGE_BUILD_DIR on that too... Compile time is much better and the tablet is still responsive all the time. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shimitar (talkcontribs)

Im at the beginning of the guide and Im stuck. The link for flatline "https://download.androidroot.mobi/flatline_tf700.img" doesnt work and I havent found that .img yet. Do you have it?

Thanx in advance! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hobs0n (talkcontribs)

EDIT: Since Im a newb when it comes to Linux I have quite a lot of thoughts, wonders and questions about this guide. It would be nice to be able to get more help for this. Where is this good? Direct contact with you? Im writing a thread on the Gentoo forums at the moment and I´ll see what happens :) — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hobs0n (talkcontribs)

Thank you so much !!! Amazing work. I've been looking for this for years. While I am more a debian kind of guy, this is a very good occasion to try gentoo. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Badtrash (talkcontribs)

The file /etc/tf700/SpecialKeysX is part of the configuration, but it is not shown here.
