Uvesafb has been removed and I don't spot a replacement. Use the fbdev xorg driver to work with Hyper-V. If it's an EFI image you must use the gen2 hardware setting.

- I'll make some notes of those things in the draft. Unfortunately I don't presently have Hyper-V to test these settings so I'll take your word for it. Feel free to edit any of my draft pages in the future. --Maffblaster (talk) 08:08, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
Integration Services

I've added a section about the setup of the Hyper-V Integration Services, though at the moment it is almost 100% manual. I've setup [an overlay] that contains an ebuild for the services, but it currently only covers an OpenRC+dhcpcd configuration.
