Use this template to mark an article as a stub.
A stub is a short article, usually just starting out, that has only rudimentary information. Stubs are destined to be expanded, so mark articles as stubs if they are short and in need of fleshing out.
Adding this stub template to an article automatically adds it to the Stub category, so that editors can easily find articles that need work. The see also section lists alternative and complimentary templates, to mark articles that require work of some form.
