This template should only ever be used by an actual account-owner on their own user page.

Use this template on a user homepage to request an account rename from the wiki administrators.

Pages on which this template is used get included in Category:Username_rename_requests so that the wiki admins can get a clear overview of pending requests.

  Note to wiki admins

Make sure to be informed of the proper procedure before performing account renames.

Remember to check that the account rename request was issued from the correct account.

Accounts may be renamed from the Special:RenameUser page.

Parameters

To open a request to the wiki admins to rename an account.
