After going in circles for a while, I have found out that my Apple MacBookPro11,5 laptop has a graphic chip [AMD/ATI] Venus XT [Radeon HD 8870M / R9 M270X/M370X] (rev 83) (lspci -s 01:00), that has PCI ID 1002:6821 (rev 83), subsystem 106b:0149 (lspci -s 01:00), and that thing seems to be a AMD R9 M370X, Mac edition (http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-R9-M370X.142763.0.html; http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/notebook/r9-m200) — here I am not sure — and that this is some type of Cape Verde chip. When I load radeon kernel driver, it complains it also wants radeon/TAHITI_vce.bin. From the code of the driver (drivers/gpu/drm/radeon/radeon_vce.c), it seems that this applies to all Cape Verde chips, and on all Pitcairn, Oland, Aruba and Tahiti chips too. I don't trust myself enough to add these, nor I have means to test it.
