In this edit to the iwd article you recommend to not use netifrc. Does iwd have a problem with nitifrc? If not, also the setup for netifrc shouud be described. Please compare to the wpa_supplicant article.

- Thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately netifrc does not seem to support iwd yet. I have created bug #690808 for this and linked to it in the iwd arcticle. Hfern (talk) 09:09, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- I have now also added created a netifrc script for iwd, and added it as an attachment to bug #690808. Just waiting now to get it picked up by the developers. -- Hfern (talk) 14:04, 18 August 2019 (UTC)

Your edit "... and can manage routes and DNS resolving." has confused me for a while. It sounds like no additional resolver were needed. Did you get that working without?--Charles17 (talk) 11:00, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response, but indeed, iwd has a built in dhcp client, see iwd's config file man page for details. I have tested that too, and it works fine. Hfern (talk) 19:51, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
