arch-chroot

resolv.conf

root #cp --dereference /etc/resolv.conf /etc/

is a typo.

root #cp --dereference /mnt/gentoo/etc/resolv.conf /mnt/gentoo/etc/

is the correct command.

Not a typo; Handbook:PPC64 is missing the correct variable:

{{RootCmd|cp --dereference /etc/resolv.conf {{Handbook Variable|root-partition-live-env-mount-point}}/etc/}}
