hardware info
Is it possible to provide the output of the following commands?
root #
lscpu
root #
lspci -nnk
root #
lsusb
root #
lsusb -vt
The output should be in the Hardware section, under the table. Check Template:RootCmd/doc.

sound
How did the sound card was configured? Was PipeWire used? Interesting that the headphones don't work. Check Chromebook/Sound_configuration.

- Added some notes.
- The bug with jack was known at least since 2022. When I've bought the laptop, I tried to connect wired headset and it did not work. For now I don't have any wired headset to test it.

AX201
My laptop has the same wireless card and is affected by the bug described here. Is this laptop also affected by it? I see you suggest to use iwlwifi.power_save=1
, can you explain why? --Lars Hint (talk) 11:09, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- There was an issue where the card would pull 5W of power without this set, it needs more testing to see if this is still an issue to worry about in 6.x kernels but that's the history of it.
- (BTW nice work around the wiki, please do consider joining #gentoo-wiki on IRC as we are all big fans of what you do around the wiki :) )

- After almost two years of using this laptop it is not easy to remember, why I suggest this parameter. It seems, that I had an issue with power consumption. I will test later what happens if I remove this parameter, but I restart this laptop not often at all
- Aruslantsev (talk) 07:29, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Had time to check it today. Without this parameter power consumption is higher, but wifi still works and does not crash at any load
- Aruslantsev (talk) 08:37, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
- How much higher? If it's on the order of a few watts, it's probably the issue Immolo is talking about.

- Approximately +1-1.5W
- Aruslantsev (talk) 14:09, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Could you mention that in the table?
- — Waldo Lemmer 14:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Done.

Sometimes laptop losts AX201 after resuming after suspend to ram with kernel >= 6.6.8-gentoo and < 6.7 with throwing kernel bug with kernel NULL pointer dereference. After this system becomes unusable, and only reboot helps to fix this issue. Works perfectly with kernel 6.8
Aruslantsev (talk) 10:51, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Could you mention this in the article?
- — Waldo Lemmer 14:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Done. I think the thread about AX201 can be closed now. I am not sure that I will have enough time to perform good tests for power consumption and system stability soon because of the work. But if anything changes, I will mention it in the article.

- Thanks! :D
