Network bridge
wouldn't it be useful to remove the advice to "emerge --ask sys-apps/usermode-utilities net-misc/bridge-utils" because: With net-misc/netifrc >=0.4.0, the installation of net-misc/bridge-utils has been deprecated. The network bridge is set up simply by configuring it in /etc/conf.d/net
Meanwhile we have version 0.5.1 stable... --Pauledd (talk) 11:15, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed, I'll do it now. In future if you know your solution is better then please just do it.

General Option Help
I was looking to expand the QEMU option until I saw "translation" and paused.
There has to be a section where we can put all the help options verbatim somewhere but not include it into the manual.
Maybe like an "Invocation" section?

Also, do we want the collapsed output of each command or not, or just the commands only?
I am only happy to flesh it out after the master editor outlines its placement. Egberts (talk) 16:28, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Egberts. Feel free to add the relevant invocations. There's no "master editor" — anyone should feel free to edit any page on this wiki. Please do check out the contributor's guide before editing, though.
- My suggestion is to place the relevant invocations at the top of their relevant sections. For example, the example you gave would go at the top of section Machine. If some relevant sections are missing, you can create them.
