Link section usage
Hi Shinmili, thanks for all the work you do!
I've recently noticed you converting uses of {{Link}} to match how it's used in the documentation. I've never noticed a difference in behavior between specifying the section as an argument to section
or appending it directly to the page title. But since you edit translated pages, maybe you've noticed a difference?
I've tried asking at #gentoo-wiki (webchat), but no one had an answer for me.

- Hi Waldo. I appreciate your edits too.
- You guess it right. The change is for helping translators and doesn't affect original English pages. If I accidentally put
{{Link|Some_Article#some_section|テキスト}}
as the Japanese translation, it would link toSome_Article#some_section/ja
, where it should link toSome_Article/ja#some_section
. It is really helpful if the original page is already written withsection
, and also recommended here to do so.
- Thanks for the explanation. I've added some more information to the documentation. I'll fix any incorrect uses that I spot.
