What's with the Multi-lib/pure-64bit discussion? I presume this page has been copied verbatim from the AMD64 handbook. Also, it links to the wrong download project page. I'd have a go at editing it, but I'm no expert on either the right answers, or on wikitext, so it would probably end up a mess. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Goverp (talk • contribs) 18 September 2017

Mr_Dern logged onto IRC today to report this issue... Would the solution be to remove the multilb section from the x86 handbook completely ? or is the note about not applying to most architectures supposed to indicate to ignore the section ?

I'm not sure a link can be made directly to the x86 section of the website downloads page currently, seems the tab has to be clicked on.

The note about multilib was added as that section is included in every architecture and not specific to one. So, yes, the intention is to convey that a multilib choice can be ignored when it does not apply. --Grknight (talk) 19:08, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
