Translated templates
Hello,
please do not create any translated templates. This is clearly stated on the translation help page, yet you created versions for the new *Box templates. Please, revert back to using {{FileBox}}
, etc. without any language indication.
Instead, reply here with translations for each of the strings shown here: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Special:Translate?group=wiki-templates&language=es&filter=%21translated&action=translate Note that you can not translate them yourself yet, I will do that for you, I just need the strings. —a3li 16:18, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- I regret the error. I will make the changes as soon as possible.
- These are the English strings:
- Note, Warning, Important, CODE, FILE, KERNEL, DIFF, Home
- This is my translation (in the same order):
- Nota, Advertencia, Importante, CÓDIGO, ARCHIVO, KERNEL, DIFF, Inicio
- Does this mean that if any other translator think that a string should translate with other word have to contact you to change it? That would not be appropriate for a Wiki.
- I take this opportunity to see if I can answer how to translate the page title: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:X86/es - Quilosaq (talk) 19:45, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing things quickly. I have added the strings, the templates will 'magically' be translated now.
- Yes, I agree that it's not nice to have the messages be restricted, sadly it's a technical restriction that takes some time to work around.
- Finally, handling the title of the Handbook pages is finally decided on. We have to deal with a few technical restrictions as well. —a3li 09:19, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
